Antique Stained Glass Panel with Painted Fruit Motif – c.1890–1910 – 51.5 × 57.5 cm
An attractive late Victorian to Edwardian leaded stained glass panel centred by a finely painted botanical fruit motif, surrounded by geometric leadwork, coloured roundels and softly textured period glass. The combination of muted greens, warm amber, pale pink and vivid blue gives the panel considerable character while remaining very usable within a contemporary interior.

The composition is particularly accomplished, with a central hand-painted fruiting branch set within a square reserve and framed by intersecting blue geometric bands. Four curved amber sections soften the geometry, while coloured glass roundels punctuate the design.
The surrounding field is assembled from subtly varied textured and coloured glass in pale green, olive, amber, blush and clear tones. When illuminated, these differing textures create considerable depth and variation in the light.
The painted central detail and jewel-like roundels elevate the panel beyond a simple domestic leaded window, giving it a strong decorative quality while retaining the authentic surface, historic leadwork and individuality that make antique architectural glass so appealing.
A versatile size for incorporating into an internal window, door, kitchen or bathroom scheme, decorative partition, illuminated wall opening or bespoke architectural installation.
A genuine one-off piece of British architectural history, particularly suited to interiors where original materials, craftsmanship and individual character are valued.
