The panel is particularly attractive for its balance between decorative colour and large areas of textured clear glass. Flowing green and soft rose-toned sections frame a central composition of pale blue glass, a vivid ruby-red teardrop and warm amber detailing.
Different textures of clear glass create movement across the surface and allow light to distort softly through the panel, while the asymmetrical curves give the design the characteristic naturalistic quality associated with Art Nouveau and late Arts and Crafts - period decorative glass.
Its compact near - square proportions make it particularly versatile for an interior installation, either incorporated into a window or door, displayed within an internal glazed opening, or presented as a decorative architectural feature.
