Pair Antique Stained Glass Decorative Inserts c1900 | H26 x W22 each
A highly decorative matched pair of period leaded stained glass decorative inserts / architectural fragments, each forming a bold stylised floral motif in vivid green, amber, ruby red and turquoise-blue glass.
Designed as a mirrored pair, the panels have an especially strong architectural quality when displayed together. The combination of textured coloured glass, pale surrounding sections and circular blue glass roundels gives them excellent presence despite their relatively compact size.
They would work beautifully hung in a window, incorporated into cabinetry or interior joinery, or displayed as individual pieces of decorative architectural glass.

An unusual and particularly attractive pair of small period stained glass panels with a strong stylised botanical design.
Each panel centres on a tall green form terminating in an amber pointed motif, flanked by small ruby-red glass sections. Pale textured glass creates the sweeping lower curves, while a vivid turquoise-blue circular roundel anchors each composition.
The two panels mirror one another, making them especially effective when installed or displayed as a pair.
The original leadwork, textured glass and natural irregularities give these pieces the individuality expected from genuine period architectural glass. Their compact scale also makes them versatile for contemporary interiors, where antique stained glass can introduce colour, craftsmanship and architectural character without dominating a room.
Sold as the matched pair.
